Dippy is a bean who used his private parts as piranha bait and got his bottom half eaten by the piranhas.

About

Dippy is the product of a cloning experiment gone wrong. The hope was to create a super species that could live under water. The result was a witless, water-obesessed creature who dipped his body parts in any liquid. This included his doctor's soup, the toilet and of course, piranha-infested waters. The experiment is closed until further notice.

Dippy is a pink, capsule-shaped bean. During his death, the bottom half of his body is stripped of flesh by piranhas, and up to three piranhas are seen clinging on to his bones afterwards.

Dippy is seen (with his bottom half uneaten) jumping into the water, shaking his body, and then jumps up with three piranhas clinging to his bones, revealing his now half-skeletal bottom half. At the end of the first chorus, Dippy kicks a piranha on his left leg, which then transitions to Dummkopf’s Verse.

Trick: He Trick-Or-Treats at Munchies house, only to be rejected. Dippy then steals an egg from a chicken to throw at the house, only to be attacked by chickens

Treat: He Trick-Or-Treats at Munchies house and gets burried in a pile of candy. Munchies then eats him upon eating the candy.

Dumb Ways to Die

Dippy can be unlocked for the player's Train Station, as the 8th bean to arrive at the train station in both versions. In older versions of Dumb Ways to Die, the player needs 1400 points to get him, which is nothing compared to the 387200 points required to unlock him in the newer versions. He is also the 42nd thing to be unlocked in newer versions.

Piranha Plunge

Unlocked by default

In the game, Dippy has already jumped into the water, and the player must flick away any piranhas that appear, or else the piranhas will eat Dippy. Winning will keep him dancing in the water.

Leaky Landlubber

There is another mini-game where the player has to guide Dippy's boat with a hole in it to the island by swiping right. If Dippy's boat makes it to the island, he will get off of the boat and dance again. Otherwise, the boat will sink and Dippy will get eaten by piranhas, resulting in failure.

Dippy has a pirate mini-game where the player must tilt the screen to keep Dippy from falling. Winning will make him jumping on to land and dances again. Otherwise, he lands in the water where a shark bites him.

Loves Meat, Loves Meat Not

Dippy has a Valentine mini-game where the player must pluck petals off a flower to help Dippy find true love. Winning will make piranhas swim around Dippy in a heart shape. Otherwise, the piranhas will maul him.

Pet-a-pet

There is an Easter mini-game where the player has to tap all the rabbits and avoid the piranhas wearing rabbit ears. Winning will make Dippy hold hands with a bunch of rabbits and hop off into the sunset. Otherwise, the piranhas will maul him.

Jellyfish Jumble

There is another mini-game where Dippy is in the ocean with dangerous Australian jellyfish. Similar to his original Piranha mini-game, the player must tap to flick the jellies away. If all the jellyfishes are flicked away, Dippy will arrive to the shore and give a sea turtle a high five. Not flicking away any of them will make a jellyfish latch onto Dippy and it stings and electrocutes him, resulting in failure.

Dumb Ways to Die 2: The Games

He appears on the map dancing after the player unlocks him with a score of 400 or more in Dumbest of the Dumb, as the third bean to be unlocked. If the player taps on him he'll get bitten by multiple piranhas.

Dippy can be seen applauding for Zany in the success scene of "100m Piranha Freestyle".

He is also appeared in the ACMI minigame where he was knocked over a dinosaur skeleton. You need to help him avoid the bones. If so, Knucklehead, as a guard will catch and shock him. Otherwise, the bones will fall on him and make him bleed, failing the minigame.

Dumb Ways to Die 3: World Tour

Dippy is a Common bean in Dumb Ways to Die 3: World Tour. His ability is Waterproof, which, ironically, makes him immune to fire damage.
