Dippy is a bean who used his private parts as piranha bait and got his bottom half eaten by the piranhas.
About
Dippy is the product of a cloning experiment gone wrong. The hope was to create a super species that could live under water. The result was a witless, water-obesessed creature who dipped his body parts in any liquid. This included his doctor's soup, the toilet and of course, piranha-infested waters. The experiment is closed until further notice.
Appearance
Dippy is pink, capsule-shaped bean. After his death, his bottom half is stripped of flesh by piranhas, and up to three piranhas are clinging on to his bones.
In the video
Dippy is seen (with his bottom half uneaten) jumping into the water, shaking his body, and then jumps up with three piranhas clinging to his bones, revealing his now half-skeletal bottom half. He kicked a piranha off in the first chorus.
Game
Only one piranha is clinging to his bones in the original app game.
Dumb Ways to Die
Dippy can be unlocked for the player's Train Station, as the 8th bean to arrive at the train station in both versions. In older versions of Dumb Ways to Die, the player needs 1400 points to get him, which is nothing compared to the 387200 points required to unlock him in the newer versions. He is also the 42nd thing to be unlocked in newer versions.

In the game, Dippy has already jumped into the water, and the player must flick away any piranhas that appear, or else the piranhas will eat Dippy. If you win, he keeps dancing in the water.

There is another mini-game where you have to guide Dippy's boat with a hole in it to the island by swiping right. If Dippy's boat makes it to the island, he will get off of the boat and gyrate again. Otherwise, the boat will sink and Dippy will get eaten by piranhas, resulting in failure.

Dippy has a pirate mini-game where you tilt the screen to keep Dippy from falling. If you win, he jumps on to land and gyrates again. Otherwise, he lands in the water where a shark bites him.

Dippy has a Valentine mini-game where you pluck the petals off a flower to help Dippy find true love. If you win, the piranhas swim around Dippy in a heart shape. Otherwise, the piranhas will maul him.
- Pet-a-pet

There is an Easter mini-game where the player has to tap all the rabbits and avoid the piranhas wearing rabbit ears. If you win, Dippy holds hands with a bunch of rabbits and hop off into the sunset. Otherwise, the piranhas will maul him.
- Jellyfish Jumble

There is another mini-game where Dippy is in the ocean with dangerous Australian jellyfish. Similar to his original Piranha mini-game, you must tap to flick the jellies away. If all the jellyfish are flicked away, Dippy will arrive to the shore and give a sea turtle a high five. If you don't flick, a jellyfish latches onto Dippy and stings and electrocutes him, resulting in failure.
Dumb Ways to Die 2: The Games
Dippy is seen applauding for Zany when he wins the 100m Piranha Freestyle.
He is also seen on the map dancing, if the player taps on him he'll get bitten by multiple piranhas.
Deaths
- Bumper Cars post: Rode one off-shore (hinted by sleeping with the fishes)
- Magic post: Got sawed in half by Lax, and probably bled out.
- Bungee Jumping Post: Forgot to tie the cord to anything.
- VR Post: Played on his Virtual Reality Headset near a piranha tank. They attacked him again.
