As a child Doofus was prone to head injuries. This meant his parents wouldn't allow him to play ball sports. Denied his one true passion, Doofus now jumps at any opportunity to play with round things. Including wasp nests. That takes a lot of balls.

Doofus is seen throwing a nest of wasps into the air three times. Each time, more and more wasps come towards him, ready to attack. After the third time, he falls on the ground dead from being stung a lot, and the nest of wasps lands on his crotch and falls onto the ground. In the chorus, Doofus is a Secondary Dancer in the fifth group/bridge, but like Botch, is not train-related.

Dumb Ways to Die (application)[]
Doofus can be unlocked for the player's Train Station at the score 2400 in the old version and at the total score of 1095200 in the new version. In both versions, he is the 13th character to arrive at the train station, and in the new version, he is the 72nd thing that can be unlocked.
- Wasp Swat

In the game when Doofus appears, the player have to kill all the wasps that are in his face due to playing with its nest. Winning will make him wipe the sweat off his forehead and saying/miming “Phew!” in relief. Otherwise he gets stung to death while the nest of wasps lands on his crotch like in the original video.
- Wasp Toss

Doofus has another mini-game where he throws a nest of wasps in the air. The player must tilt Doofus around so he can catch the nest of wasp several times. If the player wins, the bees will make a winking face at Doofus. If the nest touches the ground, they will get out of the nest to kill Doofus. They then cover Doofus' body and sting him, killing him and causing him to fall backwards (similar to Mishap and Botch).
- Snow Problem

In his Christmas mini-game he will be making the base snowball for a snowman. The player must roll the snowball until it's big enough. If the player loses, the snowman's nose/carrot will poke his eye out and cause him to start bleeding, resulting in failure. If the player wins, the snowman comes to life as Doofus starts cheering.
- Leaning Tower of Pizza

In his Europe mini-game, the player must tilt their screen to keep the Leaning Tower standing. If it stands, the Doofus is seen eating a huge slice of pizza. Otherwise, he's seen taking a picture with the tower, but ends up being too close to it and gets crushed, resulting in failure.

Doofus has a Lunar New Year minigame where the player must tilt his device to catch the fine china (Similar to his second minigame). If so, Doofus will thumbs up toward the screen. Otherwise, the fine china will fall over Doofus and breaks on him causing to bleed, resulting in failure.
- Drag and Drop

Doofus has a minigame where he is facing off against Calamity in a boxing match. The player has to put on Doofus' boxing gloves and his helmet. If you put on all the gear, Calamity will be punched and knocked out by Doofus, which may have killed her. The audience will then cheer and take pictures of a happy Doofus. Otherwise, Doofus tries to punch Calamity, but will miss and she knocks him out instead, presumably killing him.
Dumb Ways to Die 2: The Games[]
- Party Time
Doofus is blowing a balloon. The player have to tap at the yellow area so that he can blow. If so, he gifts Putz a balloon. Otherwise, a balloon will pop and he will become scared by the clown.
Dumb Ways To Die 3: World Tour[]
He is a Rare bean with the ability named "Stinger" which allows the player to multiply tokens earned in a game by 50%. He can be obtained from gifts.

Scrub: Hits a glass of water with a football by accident, which Calamity dies after slipping on.
