Area Fiftydumb is a new area in Dumb Ways to Die 2: The Games, updated December 2016. This area and its minigames are the science fiction themed with a humorous twist.

Teleportation Tangle[]

Stupa and Boffo are testing out a new teleporter. Connect the guts to the matching bean to make sure they re-materialize correctly.

Winning will make them successfully teleport into a bathroom, standing in toilet bowls and exchanging confused looks.

Failing will make them merge with each other and turn themselves into abominations.

This is a reminiscent of the minigames Power Cord, Balloon Baffoon, and Unsafe Bungee.

Countdown Commuter[]

Loopy is on guard with a button. Help him launch the rocket by tapping the button as soon at it hits Zero.

If the ten is missed, too late or too early, the Rocket explodes, and Dean will be launched into the window in front of Loopy. The countdown screen will also display a sad face emoticon ( :( ).

Otherwise, Loopy will send Dean home successfully.

Help Dumbbell perform surgery on Boffo by pulling baby aliens out of his chest.

Winning will make Boffo hug the aliens and sigh in relief.

Failing will make a hostile monster burst out of Boffo's chest, killing him and causing Dumbbell to look away in horror.

Counter Cow Abduction[]

Help Loopy to protect his cows from being stolen by dragging them down before they reach the top.

Winning will make Loopy celebrate by drinking a cup of milk as a house gets taken behind.

Failing will make the cows go in and come out as hamburgers as Loopy desperately tries to pull them down himself.

This is reminiscent of the minigame Electro-Cute, where the player must not let any appliances fall into the sink.

Alien Wildlife Photography[]

The world thinks aliens don't exist, so Zany wants to prove them wrong! Help him by touching the sneaky alien wherever it appears.

Winning will make him post a picture of it on a social media website as it gets billions of likes.

Failing will make the alien somehow kill Zany and hang his head on a plaque.

Laser Satellite Reception[]

Shot 2016-12-02 15-19-52

Madcap is trying to watch TV, but the satellites aren't in the correct order. Help him by moving the satellites into his home by turning them.

If the satellites are turned properly, the TV will be turned on, showing a penguin slapping a yeti in the face.

Otherwise, the lasers will destroy the Earth by slicing it in half.

Interstellar Tea Ceremony[]

Dumbbell forgot the zero gravity effects everything! Help him get to his tea by tilting the device into it.

If Dumbbell reaches the tea, he will make him pull out a bendy straw and start drinking it.

If Dumbbell misses the tea, he will make him bump into a lever and send his rocket into the Sun rather than the Earth, resulting in failure.

This is reminiscent of the minigame Spaceman Splat, where the player must guide Numskull to her helmet.

Acid Moon Walk[]

Shot 2016-12-02 15-25-23

Loopy is having a fun adventure into space, so the player have to make sure it stays fun by holding to make him go lower and avoid acid bubbles.

If Loopy touches an acid bubble, he will be melted by an acid bubble, resulting in failure.

If Loopy dodges all the acid bubbles, he will plant a flag in the ground (right on top of Junior's mooncastle).

Trivia[]

  • The failure scene for Countdown Commuter may be a reference to the real-life Space Shuttle Challenger disaster where the shuttle disintegrated ~70 seconds after launch.
  • The failure scene for Space Monster Midwifery is a reference to a scene in the film Alien where a person impregnated by a facehugger (an infant which carries alien larvae) is killed when an alien bursts from his chest.
  • Area Fiftydumb is named after Area 51, an American Military Base in Nevada believed to be associated with highly confidential extraterrestrial research, hence the space, future & alien-themed minigames.
  • Ironically, Area Fiftydumb is also where Numskull is seen above if she has been unlocked.
  • The trailer's name: "The Final Dumbtier" is a reference to Star Trek V with the subtitle The Final Frontier.
  • When the area was first released, it had unique music and the UFO took place of the moon in the lives bar. This was later changed on an unknown date.
  • In the minigame "Laser Satellite Reception", Madcap's house is reused from Dimwit's, with statellite added.
